Connect DanceFam to Claude

Let Claude search dance events, find venues, and manage your events for you.

Requires a Claude Pro plan or higher and a free DanceFam account. Works on desktop and mobile.

What you can do

Once connected, Claude becomes your personal dance assistant — using live DanceFam data to help you find events and run your own.

  • Search events, venues, cities & metro areas
  • Create & edit events from a chat message
  • Manage organizations and invite members
  • Update your profile and dance styles

DanceFam accounts are free — sign up to unlock the connector.

1Set up the connection

  1. Open claude.ai in your browser (works on desktop and mobile).
  2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  3. Tap Add custom connector.
  4. Enter a name (e.g. “DanceFam”) and paste this URL:
    https://mcp.dancefam.io/mcp
  5. Tap Connect. You'll be asked to sign in to your DanceFam account and approve the connection.

2Try it out

Start a new chat and ask something like:

  • “What salsa events are happening this weekend?”
  • “Find bachata classes near Austin.”
  • “Show me all upcoming events at [venue name].”

Your AI will use DanceFam to look up real, live event data.
